The tachometer is nice, but it's futile to pretend it's necessary for anything other than one's own need to have it. The CV/GM Tachometer came around because of accountants. It's cheaper than a full gauge set and looks better than the used-to-be-common 3 gauge layout. When I was 15 and car horny, I thought I *needed* one too. I don't even look at mine anymore-- I shift by ear. | ||
