What's it worth?

Could anyone tell me what a 2000 E320 wagon would be worth with 125,000 +KM. I think over all it has been dilligently maintained and well taken care of..I would say very good condition if not excellent.

Re: What's it worth?

You don't say if it is a 4-matic or not, but judging from your description $15-$17,000. If they have all the service records it would be a help. Go to www.kbb.com and see what the "private party value" shows.

Re: What's it worth?

It is a 4-matic. Only problem is I found out it has exactly 217,000 km (134,000) miles on the odometer, but being in such great cosmetic appearance and well maintained, I am still considering it. I may be able to get it for under 9k Canadian (8k U.S>>). What troubles plague this car? I know G wagons but know nothing of the E class.

RE: What's it worth?

The electronic components are the biggest worry. The 4-matic system is much the same as the ML system, so it should be okay. Try to get the service history. There was some confusion about synthetic versus dino oil about this time because of the Flexible Oil Service introduction. Many models were broken in with synthetic and then changed over to dino oil causing excessive oil consumption. It would be best if it could be confirmed it has used one or the other exclusively.
