| RE: Is there an AMG W140? Very true. there were a couple of companies who did custom work on the W140. Lorinser, Brabus, Carlsson, and they were all AWESOME! The only thing I could find from AMG on the W140 was this Tamiya W140 model, that was posted in another thread on P3. Here they are: | ||

As to how many they made who knows. It's like the early C Class. They made a C55 in very small numbers. And the mega R129 SL73. So yes as I said before there is an AMG 140. Somewhere out there someone has the best W140 ever  | |

| RE: Is there an AMG W140? The AMG version of the 7.3 litre V12 has I believe 525bhp. Pagani used the AMG engine in the Zonda. There were a few Zonda customers that specified the Brabus 7.3 S engine as that is rated at 582bhp. | RE: Is there an AMG W140? thanks guys, the car is going great. The only issue left to resolve is the brakes. The car runs large four pot Alcon Brabus brake calipers on the front, rears are standard. Brake fade from high speed is a big problem. I've just received and will fit today some Pagid RS-14 Ceramic Based competition brake pads for the front calipers. Hopefully this will fix the problem but I am worried that they will squeal like hell in slow traffic. I'll have to wait and see. I am going down to the Le Mans Classic in France on thursday so a round trip of about a 1000 miles. First decent trip she's had since I brought her back from germany.
