Its better if you have a pro mech to work on your car iNeon especially for the suspension. My 300D needs suspension work to pass inspection, and I wish to do it myself, but you need special tools which will be a hassle to get, also I don't have time because of work. So I will leave it to the pros.... IMHO | ||

Problem is as much life and limb as it is cash. Use the wrong spring compressor and it fails. You could incur substantial funeral expenses to your surviving family members. Or serious medical bills.
Now with that said if you can't beg, rent or borrow the correct tools. THen do what you can and farm out the few you can't.
You can also buy the tools new on eBay....then sell them when you are done and count the difference as cost of doing the work yourself. Which will still be far less then mechanics fees. Edited by Boneheaddoctor 7/5/2006 9:24 AM | ||
