| Mercedes Freightliner Buses
A local school system ordered 5 Freightliner Buses with Mercedes Benz 900 engines (6 cyl.?). They were put into service August 8 and 4 are now in the shop with engine failure. A lady I know is driving the last one running and they expect it to lay down just any day! She says they're pouring oil (but from where?). I wonder what the problem is.

I talked to her boyfriend today and he said the school system is not accepting the buses and will be asking for them to be picked up. The superintendent isn't very happy with them and he has ordered 5 Internationals to be delivered in a few weeks. I just don't understand why the engines have failed in just a few days of service.
