Re: My New Project

Nice ride though it's too bad a diesel is going in there.I'm sure you have your reasons.

RE: My New Project

Yes is a reason for Diesel - my 260E was ok some days - Engine gone.
I have 190D & very happy - 850 000 Km
I choose non-turbo 2.5L - all rebuild - some new things from newer models lots of OM606
I did lots of Mod.
.Suspension - new wheels & tires - low profile 215/40/17
I love lager rims - to get proper Differential ratio for Diesel I have drop of tire height.
Looks sexy - I just waiting for accelerator cable - coming from Germany - next week I can hit the highway.
For speed, I have ML320E & I love - many modifications too.
Main thing become like European 250D
If some one have Electrical wiring - 250D or 190D be very appreciated.
I have some wiring diagrams are not so clear & many things cant see - pins number.

Re: My New Project

You going to swap out the right fender for an authentic Diesel fender with the vent slats?

I like right side fender with air vent.
In my case I use air filter attached to the intake manifold - 190D 2.5 or 250D
