Interesting premise but those things are so impractical - the bed is too short to begin with, even if the midgate is opened and rear seats folded down. In a subzero weather, driving with midgate down will no doubt give the driver a frostbite on the back of the head.

Keep your fingers crossed - I do like the idea of CDI engine. If done right, I would seriously consider it. MB could also apply the same concept on C-Class and market it as the upscale version of Subaru Baja | ||

I do need a vehicle that will carry grain bags, lumber and haybails without getting my upholstery dirty while at the same time providing reliable transportation in comfort and style. | ||
