Curiously I was looking for other W123 models there....any in fact.
In a city of about 250,000 I saw a total of 4 W123's. Two were 200 modles...one was unknown as it was debadged was well as a 4th I saw while driving in the opposit direction. And I traveled the streets a lot. Disheartening there was that few on the road.
Have not seen one in a junkyard there in over 10 years as well. Edited by Boneheaddoctor 9/7/2006 8:17 AM

Italy I don't think they will be there! Though Germany most of them are taxi cabs., and I here a lot of them are in the middle east. I seen a lot of mercedes w123s in El salvador, so I guess there around the latin countries, in south and central america. I I live in long Island which is 100 miles wide so I barely seen them around.

High miles but good old diesels. Yellow 1983 240 D. Gray,1983 300 D, and a Blue 1985 300 TD. They are getting harder to find. There are still a few left around, but the wagons are really hard to find! Even the rusty ones are brining $5,000.

Hell I can find more than that withing 2 miles of my house and I am not in the city.
