Re: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

The forum is so slow that it looks like most of it hasn't had a post for a year!!!!!
Maybe we should liven it up!

I've just bought a new computer, and it has taken me at least 9 attempts to login here - including resetting my password 4 times before FINALLY I was recognised...what a total PIA!. .
If others have had similar problems - I don't blame them for just giving up and going back to old haunts.
Yeah I hope to be there Damon - sounds like fun, will confirm a little closer to the time.

he he - I was actually talking about the NZ Benz forum.
But P3 has taken a beating since it had some problem. I used this to logon http://69.9.37.142/disc/ and it always works. The problem got worse because admin/mods thought it was fixed, but for a long time it wasn't.
I went and had a look at Benzworld. Problem there is to many idiots flamming each other!!!

On P3 the G Wagon threads are very healthy, but ones like 107 are dead ducks.

Re: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

Wouldn't take much to get it going I guess - the worst thing is to see someone who just joins up, posts a pix of their pride and joy, says a friendly hi and not a single reply..... hmmmmmm. Those kind of things are a PR nightmare.

The guy with the C36 runs another forum with a bunch of others that I'm a member of, you guys should join. www.Eurosport.org.nz it's pretty much a bunch of Pugeot owners who think their cars are God's gift to man so sometimes I get into hot water there so it would be nice to have more MB owners.

I just tried to register at that mbcc site..... the admin will email me apparently if I'm allowed in - and I'm already a paid up club member!.
Another example of how to keep people away from your website?

The actual message:

Thank you for registering. The admin must approve your registration before you may begin to use your account, you will receive an email shortly advising you of the admin's decision.

Is it just me, or is this sort of silly crap just plain stupidity?.
(Still haven't heard from the MBCC Admin btw - guess it might take a month or two)

You know me I'm so calm and collected......and I didn't tow my asshole neighbours car on saturday... Mind you I was pretty calm since it was only about the 10th time they had locked me in after being told and told and told not to.

Re: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

If you guys haven't been in a G Wagon yet we'll have to do some off-roading this winter. The G-Class is mind blowing off-road!

I can't recall having ever been off-roading full-stop, let alone in a Gelandewagen
I think the closest I've ever been to 'off-roading' is an overnite camp-out at the Waimak in a Disco, which sunk in the river the next day

Are there many rabbits up in those off road Oxford foothills and trails? (I'm thinking Bunny hotpot).

Sun 20 May - Canterbury Foothills & Backroads Tour (all roads will be tarsealed). Meet at Belfast Pub at 10.15am for a 10.30am departure.

So who's going? Sounds like it will go past my place ha ha ha.
Now which one to drive is the next question? Most Merc fans have at some stage seen or been in a 107, so I might bring one of the G Wagons along. Not very many in NZ.
Mind you I'll get board being on the tarmac all the time ha ha ha.
