Better get your arse into gear then!.
Mine sounds 'bass cruisy', Damons is now 'look forward to mystery', yours could be...'up the yanks loud'!.
We should line them up on Sunday and have some Merc. V8 throttle up appreciative moments...oooh yeah (again)

Re: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

nice! Yes, I'd be into 'up the Yanks' loud. Something like two Flowmaster mufflers dumping just after the diff - mmmmmm.
My W140 S500 had a custom made three inch system that I could un-bolt in front of the diff. It sounded awesome!!!!!

The key I have found is to run a good balance pipe up front. Benz V8s can get a bit barky (not in a good way) up the rev range. The best muffler I found to use is a Borla - but they are far from cheap!

So I'd better get my a into g and get the cats out and something mean out the back ha ha ha

Re: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

Well it's really quiet still! My fault as I said the cat needs to come out and maybe put a resinator in - maybe. Well they did a great job and put in one of the best resinators - so it is still quiet!!!
But it's a ton faster

Re: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

mind you I could always get a join put in after the resinator so I can drop off the tail section

RE: My new 'Black' AMG Monoblocks

Well I sure would love to hear some other local V8 Mercs farting more freely, and am looking forward to checking out 'Nomads' latest system.
Damon and I are set up to be at the Belfast Pub for the start of the run.. here's hoping for a nice day.
BTW, my cell is 021336344 (just in case you get lost in your neck of the woods!).

Sean I know it's a bit late but I've only just recieved this myself...a map for the cruise
The map itself is barely readable but the notes at the top are ok

We'll be at the Belfast tavern between 9:30 - 10am
