Was at my MB dealer and they had this beautiful Barolo Red C230! Then I looked at the sticker and it says only 25mpg HIGHWAY! What crap! The old C230K was much better. It was 32mpg. 
Even the 2007 C280 and C350 are rated at 28-29mpg. Yeesh!

yeah it's slower AND gets worse gas mileage.
reminds me of a Land Rover Discovery

Is it just a re-badged C240 then? (Didn't the C240 have a 2.6L?)
That was about the worst car in the MB lineup. They couldn't give them away at the dealers here. Maybe MBUSA decided they shouldn't be selling 4-cyl models anymore? I really miss the C230K. It was a blast to drive, and that 32mpg too. |
