iNeon Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | New Sub Box The original box is 8.5x11x4" tall, I forgot to port it, so i just knocked out the plexi window. I imagine the bass would be tighter if I were to port one side and install a solid cover, and I have intended to do so for a while, just haven't! Would the sound be the same if the enclosure were shorter, but longer and wider? I do want to keep the thing in the cabin, I need my trunk for projects. I really need a wagon, but that is unimportant at this point. Something like 2"H x 14L x 12W with a solid cover and one port toward the c-pillar so noone can tell exactly what it is? The amp and speaker have to stay, unless I can find a very good deal on a square subwoofer that would fit into the same space that the first-aid kit takes. I like that the space allows almost flush mounting, with the bottom of the speaker in the trunk. Building such a box won't be a problem at all, I just know nothing about the mechanics of speaker building (PANA0002.JPG) (PANA0008.JPG) (PANA0014.JPG) Attachments ---------------- PANA0002.JPG (19KB - 2 downloads) PANA0008.JPG (26KB - 2 downloads) PANA0014.JPG (33KB - 3 downloads)

What would *you* build if you wanted that little 8"( heh heh little 8") sub to sound its best? The amp is 250w/2 channel and the speaker has two sets of terminals, I hooked each channel to its own set of terminals. Maybe this summer if I find work, I can fancy it up, but this is all I have until then=) I think I can score some MDF, that won't be problematic
