I just bought an 84 300CD and i need to replace the rear half shafts, Can anyone here guide me trhough it, I have done alot of work on my cars and have a well equiped garage. I also have a 300GD from 84 as well. ANOTHER DIESEL!! Is always welcome!
ANd also, where is the best price for the half shaft assemblies? WHere for shocks too?

You might try Performance Products for the axles. You can find them on the web, but call them, their on-line catalogue is not complete. |

the guys will be able to talk you through the process, as well as get you the axels. this is the best help i myself can give you, i had mine replaced, but a mechanic did it for me, so im not really sure what needs to be done.
