The manual just addresses setting the fade out for the radio. I have the radio completely faded out when NAV interupts, but it still seems low and I am concerned that wind noise this summer will completely drown her out. Any cheats out there?

So as soon as she begins to say "take a right in 300 feet" start cranking the volume.

It will stay at whatever volume it was left at. I have put it loud in the past and forgot and OMG when it comes on I have jumped out of the seat. Hipe this helps.

Because I don't want to hear her at all, I just want the visual cues. Almost more trouble than it's worth. Usually I just use the maps.

Picks up 7-8 sats on average. Directions are dead on. POI appear up to date. Got me through the I95 George Washington Bridge interchange (very difficult task).
