Later I was able to turn up the volume. I had a '99 E300 Turbo Diesel with the same radio, but I don't remeber this happening. Any insight? | ||

storm Date registered: Dec 1899 Location: Vehicle(s): | Re: Radio Volume Control '97 E320 Most likely your volume knob contacts on the inside are dirty, a shot of cleaning fluid (metal contact) should sort you out. Most stereo shops supply this fluid (with nozzle), but if not you can always get it cleaned by them. It should only cost a few dollars. Worst case scenario would mean that your Auto Volume leveling (AVL) unit is acting up, but not very likely. | ||
