186-mph E-Class

Sure enough, with the P30 AMG package, the E63 is rated at 186mph top speed.

Right out of the box

You can build it at http://www.mbusa.com/models/class-overview.do?modelCode=e_class_main

...but it ain't cheap.

Now let's see how far a few RENNtech mods get you.

I'm pretty sure it's the Brabus Rocket (CLS based) as the fastest sedan in the world. The Brabus EV12 held the record before (E based, both 210 and 211).

Hmm.. but are they 'out of the box' that is, can you order them that way from the mfr.

Because anyone can soup up anything...

I believe some dealers, such as MB of Westminster (in Glauser, CO), have some sort of "partnership" with these tuners where you can have them install these things upon arrival at the dealership. However, I looked at the Glauser site, and the mentioning of any tuners is not there anymore.

M5's can hit 201mph not fair...

Someone posted a video of an E55 hitting 200 I think.

Re: 186-mph E-Class

If the ML63 can reach 180-odd MPH, imagine the E63. Someone on another forum said they called AMG and was told the ML63 could reach 191mph.

An ML? Hmm. Imagine a 190mph rollover.
