| Bosch AeroTwin wiper blades
Recently purchased a set of Bosch AeroTwin wiper blades for my E500. Price from Advanced Auto was about $65.00 for a pair. It was a special order but only took a few hours to get from their local warehouse. Advanced auto did not offer the AeroTwin blades for the SLK350.
Today I discovered that rockauto.com offers the E500 AeroTwins for 36.79 and the SLK350 AeroTwins for 43.79 (plus shipping).
I think the MB dealer price on the blades approaches $100 for the pair.
It is extremely easy to change the blades on the E500. I hope to find some suitable refills to rebuild the old set. Still need to figure out how to disassemble the blades to replace the refills. |
