Even with high miles they are bringing 20% more than a year ago. Diesel engines I'm sure are part of the reason, but I recently saw one go for $12,000 or so.

I always want the tailgate glass to open separately though, so I can stick 2x4s out the back

W 123 of any kind are realible , solid , nice to drive . When i see mine in my garage near 2000 series of BMW or MB i see they are infinitely more strong! They have special design lines , they are the pagoda of the sedans !They will be here when these others will be parts.... I LOVE my wagon. You can lay all the seats down flat, remove the rear seat bottoms and fully recline the front passenger seat (after removing the headrest) and you have 10' from front to back for 2x4s. No need for the hatch glass to open at all! Plus the SLS handles the loads very well. Edited by chad300tdt 12/3/2007 8:11 AM

Many being WAY overpriced. But you can say the same about many of the others as well. THe sedans are getting more costly as they are getting in worse and worse shape on the average.

I think with a nice paint job, it could be one of these real high dollar ones. -Tony
