RE: C140/W140 AMG Wagon Pictures

That 7 Series BMW looks really good. Is that a 750 V12?

Same with that W126. Those are really nice too, especially with those Euro headlights. That one needs a new hood star though.

The S600 was $134,000 USD in the US, but for the actual car, with the registration, taxes, fees, etc. it ended up being a little less than $140,000 USD.

That is a good deal compared to what Brunei got it for, but it is way too much money for most people here to spend their money on. A used S600 now costs about $25,000 USD now.

Re: C140/W140 AMG Wagon Pictures

Yeah, in 1991 the only W140s only belongs to the Brunei Govt. since the price is really high.

But singapore imports cars in 1998 makes everybody can afford the W140. The price range is 50-60k. So many W140s here are imported used from Singapore. like Mine.

Many S280, S320, S420 and BMW 7 series are imported used from Singapore. The conditions are so new and clean.

Because of this Brunei Govt. Ban used Mercedes Benz, BMW and Porsche from any countries.Only Japanese cars cann be imported.

Yes, It's a V12 limo version.Cost $500 000 when new.

The reasons why these cars are very expensive in the 90s, it's because of the 200% import tax impose on these type of cars. Now it's only 30%.

So now a new W220 S280 would costs $178 000 and an S500 $ 289 000.

Re: C140/W140 AMG Wagon Pictures

A used W140 S320 would costs around $52 000- $60 000 depending on the condition.

I've seen the cheapest old W140 that is the 93 model 300SEL is selling about $40 000.

See the car depreciates so much. But i havent seen a used S600 for sale.

BMW E38 7 series is another different story: A used 2000 E38 750il still costs $90 000 but a E38 728i costs only $38 000.

Shit, Its worth buying them all up here and sending them over to you guys. I thought our prices were high. Is it very hard to import a car there resulting inlimited supply and a high price.

Right

Because the sales of new Benz ,Porche and BMW are bad due to cheaper import cars entering the country.

How is that a concern of government, they should be more worried that they are skewing the market where people there have to pay stupidly high prices for cars, 40K I assume american for a car like mine! I could buy a mint 99 S600 for that here almost, get real.

They drive the car not because they like it. They drive it because they want to show that they are rich and powerful.

Then, the W221.
