Vacuum arrange

My engine is swaped from a 300 SD turbo ( w126120) , engine 617 951 - i realy dont no its year (81/85).The original engine was an 617.912.

I am posting a pic of the vacuum arranje - I did not find a diagram which is equal my vacuum lines position - Many things wrong i indentified -:

1 - direct connection ALDA - exaust manifold correcting

2- door control disativated- but i have too vacuum hoses geting into firewall - will make a blitz on those theme.

3 - air filters correct- put original one.

Instead the system works very well i whould like to learn why its diferent then the original.

Thanks for all

RE: Vacuum arrange

First thing you should do is replace those injection lines. It looks like somebody was too lazy to unbolt them and just mangled them out of their way.

RE: Vacuum arrange

You are right , i have bought them. They are expensive but important .( 20.00 US each).
But something i did not find in EPC . Central vacuum valve and the black box - On the cylinder head.

Thanks.

RE: Vacuum arrange

The black box and it's tubing are only for the EGR. Just get rid of the box + the two vacuum lines going to it and your engine will run better and cleaner.

EDIT: The vacuum diagram you posted is for an 81-83 240D, not a 300SD.
