linstall cell/GPS combo antenna on 1998 ML320

I have a 98 ML320 without any antenna on the roof. I want to instal a cell/GPS combo antenna on the roof and wire cable to console so I can install a aftermarket panasonic D3 GPS.

Can you give me some direction to instal the antenna and wiring to wire the GPS cable to console ?

Hi Amy,

Are you sure that your ML dos not have antenna combo on its rear roof ? I think every ML
should be pre-installed with wires.
If yours is not, you should use the panasonic GPS antenna, on the roof near the windshield, or under the dashboard near the windshield (best).
For cell phone, it's depend on your phone. Want to comply with Mercedes EOM (bad) ? Use original cell phone antenna (on the roof). But I think you don't need a cell phone antenna at all.
Please tell us what you have done.
