06'+ ML350 learning mode :wave:

I saw on other forum, some guy saying about resetting his ML350 learning mode by :
-Turn the key to position 2 (not start)
-Step the gas pedal all the way down for at least 15 sec.
-Wait 1 min and release the gas pedal.
He said after that, his truck is learning his dynamic way of driving and forget his mom's cautious way.
Is that true ?

I'm not sure if there's any concrete technical proof that this procedure does indeed reset the adaptive transmission. However, a lot of people to report back with positive results after trying it.

The procedure you wrote down is incorrect though. It should be:

-Turn the key to position 2.

-Depress the gas pedal all the way down and hold for 10-15 seconds.

-With the foot still on the pedal, turn the key to the off position, but do not take the key out.

-After turning the key to position 0 (off), take your foot off the gas pedal.

-Wait a minute or two before taking the key out and doing anything else.
