| HEAVY LOAD!
So the tile people once again didn't deliver the tile this morning to the house. When called they said "well we don't have a truck that make it up your drive way" We can deliver it Friday before PM to the street. well this will not fly with 5 tile people on the clock nor will the delivering at the street because its 1/4 mile or longer from the street to the house up hill in gravel. So dad got mad and sent me to get tile.
Needless to say I will getting a trailer brake this week if you have any suggestions let me know. Also I know why the tile company will not deliver to the house with there F550. It took low range all lockers locked and slinging gravel like crazy with both loads. Main problem up top was in the sharp turns the trailers rear end drug where is a dove tail for easy car hauling, on the straight streches and easy stuff the gravel is to thick so you sink. Anyway long story the G is the king of the mountain.. 10K lbs of tile, 2500 lb trailer, and grout, I would have made 3 trips if they told me how heavy the load was. First one was 5K + trailer, second one they killed me. 4 pallets, 2500 each! The G did real well considering, Also the temp never got over 85* but it seem like the trans liked 3ed gear the best. It never slipped or sounded any worse than they do with light load. I also had a friend and my dad was there with the builders of the house who are "GM is GOD people" Once i got to the top they go " wow, no one has ever made it all the way up even with a 3500 dually, Heck the ford got suck at the bottom! and that German thingee stopped and started again to let them dogs move, I aint ever seen no truck spinn them there four tires at once, that sum beep just spun them tires all the way up that there hill.....crazy i say"... however I did only go about 10 miles and didn't get over 55 mph. I think if some one would design and air bag help system the G with a good trailer and brakes would be a wonderful tow rig. It pulled the heaviest load on my new trailer 100 times better than it did my supra on a friends trailer. Oh and get this, at 6.5 mpg the check engine light goes out 
Oh and get this, i ask my dad why i can not use his "work truck", (04 GMC 2500 with 3200 miles) He goes well those things you have are the best at doing this crap, they have done it for ever and they never seem to brake when you abuse them. They only brake when you roll the windows up and down or try to use the door
