| cricket under the hood
battery went dead
noticed because I heard a cricket sound under the hood
doors did not open - battery flat
disconnected the battery, but the sound did not stop
coming from somewhere under the vacuum pump
does anyone know what this is? |

Chirping or clicking, and it continued after the battery was disconnected?

Your alarm sounder is located under the vac pump. Could be its battery was drained as well..like a smoke detector.

I think the alarm has a back up battery that would still allow it to make noise once the battery is dead |
