Instrument Cluster Dead

2003 G500, 70k miles

I need some suggestions…….. my Instrament Cluster died recently. Everything else works, steering column and center console. I have checked the 2 fuses for the cluster and actually checked all the 7.5 amp fuses, everything is ok. I read in a post that the headlight switch failure can cause cluster issues and I’ve ordered one to swap this out to see if it solves the problem.

What am I possibly missing other than swapping out the entire cluster. I have removed the cluster and checked and reset the connection, and it was ok. Has anyone found someone that tests/repairs clusters.

Any other suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.

RE: Instrument Cluster Dead

Hi,

Mine died about a year ago out of the blue.

My mechanic sent it out to be repaired.

RE: Instrument Cluster Dead

I have the earlier model 1999/2000. I have sent both out to NJ Speedo. They are fast and priced very reasonably.
I would recommend sending them an email to see if they can repair it.
