Back when I transitioned from US SUV's like the older Chevy Suburban the W460 springs give a surprisingly comfortable ride. But I'm fascinated by the idea of an open-air G, especially for night hunting. Anyone driven both and can give an assessment? The Wolf is 1990, my W460 is 1982. Both had very good ride quality. You can dial-in either one with any particular combo of shocks/springs that you prefer. The SWB has a different feel in the agility of the vehicle as you might imagine, but the big steering wheel in the wolf is not for everyone. I did not enjoy the stock seats in the wolf, specifically the vinyl. It gets very hot and sticky. Obviously the open air aspect of the Wolf is a big difference in the overall "quality" of traveling. The wolf is quite loud with or without the top on. Fuel consumption is massively improved in the Wolf vs a 280GE. | ||
