Anyone who can compare the ride of a 461 Wolf to 460 5 door 280GE

Has anyone driven both the military spec SWB W461 Wolf 2 door (soft door) and the standard W460 5 door 280 GE LWB and can tell me the difference in ride quality? Back when I transitioned from US SUV's like the older Chevy Suburban the W460 springs give a surprisingly comfortable ride. But I'm fascinated by the idea of an open-air G, especially for night hunting. Anyone driven both and can give an assessment? The Wolf is 1990, my W460 is 1982.

I have owned both. Both had very good ride quality. You can dial-in either one with any particular combo of shocks/springs that you prefer.

The SWB has a different feel in the agility of the vehicle as you might imagine, but the big steering wheel in the wolf is not for everyone.

I did not enjoy the stock seats in the wolf, specifically the vinyl. It gets very hot and sticky.

Obviously the open air aspect of the Wolf is a big difference in the overall "quality" of traveling. The wolf is quite loud with or without the top on.

Fuel consumption is massively improved in the Wolf vs a 280GE.
