| Seat occupancy emulator?
My SRS light (restraint system failure) is on and beeping, dealer tells me the seat occupancy sensor mat has failed and is no longer available.
So, looking on line there are emulator modules one can plug in to tell the system the seat is occupied so the airbag is on all the time rather than just when someone is in the seat. (gets the computer to stop the chronic beeping)
I ordered an emulator with correct pin pattern (rectangle connector with spaces for 4 but only three pins and 3 wires, seller said it might not work in US version of the G (2010 G550) and it does not.
The place I ordered from is in Ireland, there are other designs on ebay (out of Poland etc.). Has anyone tried any , had success with any?

The one from Ireland did not work, the one from Poland worked perfectly, no more beeping or error message, both found on Ebay. |
