A quick search showed no good options for a replacement. Someone on ebay was looking for $514 for used one pulled from a 2002 G500. Eventually I figured out that this same pump is used on Ford F250s, and you can get them on Amazon for $88... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001KQF6PC?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_tit... The electrical connector is different, but you can buy a pigtail and splice it into the Gwagen easily... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01D8VLUDS?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_tit... Mechanically, it is a direct replacement. You just take the vibration mounts off the old one and put them on the new one. This makes the same vacuum pressure as the Mercedes. It runs a lot quieter. The only differences are the electrical connector and the baseplate, which is plastic vs steel on the original. It works great so far. Probably everyone already knew about this and I am the last to know.
