darko Regular Date registered: Mar 2012 Location: Isle of Man Vehicle(s): 2003 G500 Posts: 64 | G500 - Rear Door / Trunk / Boot Waterproof membrane I am trying to locate a water leak at the rear of my G500 After taking off the rear door interior trim / card today, there seems to be no waterproof barrier / membrane Is that correct or has someone removed it? After lifting the front carpets I have found the real location of the damp...! | ||

I readjusted it a few times at the hinges trying to improve the closure to no avail. Eventually I replaced the seal with a new one from the dealer and no more water ingress. Maybe that could be your issue as well. The front floor water is a whole different can of worms. | ||
