Well I need assistance with dash warning issues from the wisdom offered here! All started with check, front left, blinker, backup light on. Overtime the warnings became more numerous, check, left and right blinkers, stop light’s, back up light on, all were working normally. Connected DAS, “LOST CONNECTION” couldn’t communicate., no help! Lead me to think CAN-BUS, K-Line for lack of communication. Next addition to the cluster warning’s (all four corner directional’s) happened during the winter when we had a 30 degree temp swing one day, every thing outside condensed to the point of dripping. Couple weeks latter an additional message, large air leak, check gas cap. I started with replacing all bulbs including marker’s, then on to all component connectors/sensors/actuators that might have been exposed to the elements, door actuators, side mirror blinker connector’s, overhead control module, left rear control, CAN-BUS connector’s, removed and inspected rear SAM, all in good clean condition. In that process I found the TCM sitting in a puddle of trany oil, non of witch entered the control unit, though it made contact between two pin’s, tranny was working fine, cleaned it all up, new trany seal coming. Tons of online searching for something out of the ordinary. Did a visual around the ECU and front SAM for water tracks, all looked clean. Could there be something odd one of you folks came across that was obvious but easily over looked? Should I continue on removing the front sam and the ECU?
