| Metric Motors sells a G-wagon option 617a
Not sure how long this has been available but it tickled me that Metric Motors will now specifically build a 617a for you in a G-wagon version. Even though MB never offered the motor in a G, AND, maybe even more fun, MM make no mention of supplying G-wagon versions of the OM617 that MB DID put in the G.

It looks like Puch is selling a completely reconditioned om617 motor for the 300GD as well. Much lower price than the one at Metric Motors, but I suspect it is the NA version
