Nice gesture. I do not think we should expect this courtesy in Canada. MB is too busy making lot of money due the new record rate of the Loony (CAN$). |

Jean7of9, you should try calling MB Customer Service and mention about this blanket campaign, and ee what is their response. I would assume they will be nice enough to include you and send the blanket. |

firstmb: MB Canada works on a different wavelength. I have been reading MB forums in USA for the last ten years and sometimes I am puzzled why MB Canada do not level with MB USA. Suffice to say that the ML Brochure became available in Canada more than three months after USA. If I ask for a blanket or anything else I will certainly get it because of my excellent relation with MB. I prefer not to ask for giveaways and save my credits for difficult matters.

Old thread but thought I would use it to tell of my gift from Benz. If you are a current paid up member of the Mercedes Benz Club of America and buy a new Benz here in the U.S. they will give you $1,500 to use at your dealer for parts, service and accessories. Buy a used one from your dealer and you get $750. I get $750 for buying my '06. This offer expires December 31st so if you've been considering a Benz this can be a bonus. My salesperson thought it was only for new cars so I looked in my latest Star magazine when I got home and the application with explanation was in the magazine (page 99). There is also $250 available if you buy a used Benz from a "licensed independent U.S. dealership". Glad the dealer didn't know about it otherwise I'm sure that $750 would have been thrown in when haggling over the price! |
