Photoman Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: New Zealand Vehicle(s): 280GE, ML500, 280SE 3.5 | Interior light not work working? Watch out! So I found out the hard way what fuse on a 463 shares with the stereo and interior light today - when in deep snow! Yes I flicked those trusty switches to engage the diff locks, and nothing! Not a single light! So the moral of the story is don't stuff around with putting in a stereo just before heading out 4WDing - especially when you blow a fuse But the ending was all happy when I found fuse number 13 and replaced it whilst getting snowed on

At the moment the 280GE and the G300 are in a dead heat. But after the fuse issue in the 300GE the 280GE is more likely to be kept

It's actually easy to get stuck in snow. Just get enough packed hard underneath, so the wheels don't get firm contact with the ground... That's where the Icelandic recipe with very wide tyres and very low pressure comes into play. Johan-Kr
