That's an UMM i think. I like umm. I don't think they're made anymore though; stopped just a couple years ago.

I think the man is correct. Searched for UMM (portuguese car maker no longer in business).

Yeah, I happened to be in Portugal when I saw them. UMM by the way, was short for Unified Mechanical Manufacturing co., or something like that. They made things other than cars.

Thanks. The mystery is solved.

I actually thought that it might be a Land Rover derivative - and that some of the more military inclined brethren had experience of it. I know Twodogs, Roughneck, Harald et al are the experts

What it is doing in the Okavango Delta is the next issue. Probably came via Angola.

And lastly is there an uglier thing to drive than this? (Excluding Ssan Yong Musso!)
