Finally a video review!!!

It's in German unfortunately. But you get the idea about what they're talking about. Too bad they're putting the R320 against the X5 3.0d and Q7 3.0 TDI. But I guess that's MBs fault for marketing it as an SUV/GST.

RE: Finally a video review!!!

My next-door neighbors just bought a new R.

I'm elated because I hated looking at the stupid fat Ford Expedition they had before!

Is it a 350, 320 CDI, 500, or 63?

RE: Finally a video review!!!

um, I dunno

now that I'm out in the boonies the houses are way far apart

Edit: They have one of these circular driveways so the missus parks it in front.
Their other cars (and everyone else's) go behind the houses which I LIKE.

Re: Finally a video review!!!

You found out yet? I hope it's 320 CDI.

There are rumors that MB may cut the V8 engines out of the R-Class lineup soon. Not sure if that's true. I'm sure some of the facts changed as it went from "mouth to mouth" like that one game "telephone" or something like that.

I'd lay money on its being a 350.  I'll check in a day or two

RE: Finally a video review!!!

Turns out it's a CDI 4-Matic!

She wants the temp to read Celsius instead of Fahrenheit.

So I, neighborhood Mercedes expert, say "no problem" and begin to fiddle with the steering wheel controls... nope.... then I consult the manual....nope....jesus... it's easy to make the display show Km/H instead of MPH but for the life of me, I cant figure out how to change the temp format. Anyone have a clue???

I have watched it several times and no, I do not get the idea about what they're talking about.
