I have done searches but have failed to find anything on how to remove the Instrument panel so I can change the bulbs that have blown, at the moment I can only see a bit of the rev counter and the rest of the instruments are in darkness at night, can anybody point me in the right direction please either with instructions or the address of the pages on site that I can find please.

To pull it out you need some "mercedes dash hooks" (google that). You can easily make your own with some coat-hanger wire.

I drove over a 'pot hole' in the road and they all come back working again :-) must be a bit of corrosion on the contacts or something? but at least I have the instrument lights back now.

The make-your-own dash hooks won't work.
