2005 SLK 350

We are considering an SLK 350 with only 2,900 miles on it. This one is silver and black. Any items to be aware of?
Thank you!

Taking delivery today, snow tonight. I guess it will be in hibernation for a couple of months!

Wow, congrats!  Photos!  Even indoor photos!

I'm sure it will be a good car for you... a rocket with a retractable roof, how can you go wrong

Find that empty parking lot and get to know it better.

Re: 2005 SLK 350

We took the SLK on a 400 miles trip and really had a chance to open it up. WOW! This is a real adventure to drive. I did finally get to drive it. Yesterday I decided to get those warning stickers off the sunvisors. They are messy to remove and I had to use everything in the book to get the gummy mess off the visors. GOO-GONE is useless, SIMPLE GREEN and WD-40 didn't work so finally I brought out the BIG GUNS-Gasoline-just a little. Well as you can guess it worked. Now I have a smell I'm trying to get rid of! Sunny and 55 F today so maybe I let the top down and air it out.

RE: 2005 SLK 350

Hey Ed... I can well imagine that the 350 is a total blast to drive.  The SLK is a nimble, well-balanced car to begin with and it must be a rocket with the 350 in it.  A great engine that frankly I miss a little having traded mine in!

About the gasoline...
