That's probably why the president of MBUSA used it as his "throne room" at the recent NYC Auto Show.

You are right, I also heard that the president of MBUSA was very comfortable in the JetVan (who wouldn't be, it is the choice of many world leaders) and that he had a grand time receiving the press and important guests.
MBUSA (and MB Germany) never imagined that a Sprinter would be used in this way...From its humble origins as a "delivery car / transporter" in Europe.

I hear also that the Viano / Metris is being experimented with also by this company. And that the V-Class / Metris will be in the U.S. soon.

I think it will be a better choice than a Maybach or S-Class because of the extra seating room and storage room, in addition to excellent ride qualities and road comfort.
