would you like to join a group driving down the Baja California?

Riding shotgun - passenger seat in a G-500 available, if you do not want to take your own or stolen G-wagen

Re: Baja Sur......for sure

We're flying into San Diego on the 19th and driving down the following day. I drove the Syncro camper down to SD last weekend. Hoping to come into Guerrero Negro on the AM of the 21st for a ballena watching trip. Then on to Mulege, La Paz, and Cabo Pulmo. Maybe we will hook up with your group in G.N. and go forward from there.

That's not working out for me as I have to be back at the home compound on March 22.

Harald's guided Baja Adventure will get us to the Painted Caves and a bit further North along his favorite secrete beaches......where we have to leave the group to head home....

But you are always welcome to stop by on your way back

Would love to go, but booked up with enough trips to endanger the "happily married" status.

Re: Baja Sur......for sure

We all made it to San Ignacio last night, a bit driving on the first day, but the G-wagen teams were able to do this with no problems.

I just started off great, blew through a stop sign "Alto" with full speed while the Policia was sitting next to it.

The cop wanted to take us "downtown" but my charming wife talked him out of it

Heinz had just followed me and was really surprised by the blue & red lights.....

The roads had taking a real beating from the last storm, but I was happily aware that the Mexican Caltrans were working their bud off to straighten things out again.

Karl,
That's one sweet ladder, are you driving a PUR? Don't know where a guy could get his hands on one of those, do you? Besides a parking lot at night, I mean.
