RE: Non-tech but thought you guys would want to know......

seriously, none of the write ups so far expresses what's gonna happen at the farm (except trail rides)
to attract the members who have never taken part of one of the Treffens we should tell 'em what we do

eat (Kar's Bratwurst!), drink, talk tech, stare under hoods, crawl under G's, talk more tech, get to know the face behind a name, meet the families, meet friends we made last time, tell jokes around the camp fire, see new G stuff (Karl again), drive in the woods, have a mini vacation

more anyone?

Wow - just took a look at the map - 2,420 fun filled miles door to door! We'll have to check out some airline reservations if we can get away ... I don't think I can get anyone to drive it with me ...

RE: Announcement and Invite: G-Treffen 2010

A little description of the event as spoken by one of the participants/entertainers from the last farm gathering:

"......eat (Kar's Bratwurst!), drink, talk tech, stare under hoods, crawl under G's, talk more tech, get to know the face behind a name, meet the families, meet friends we made last time, tell jokes around the camp fire, see new G stuff (Karl again), drive in the woods, have a mini vacation.."

Couldn't have said it better myself. Hope you all can join in.

It's just 100 miles south of Portland's International Airport, a beautiful drive even in a non-G-wagen vehicle.

Maybe with all the arrangements, Mike could possible provide a Van Shuttle from Portland - please let us know the airline, D&TOA and D&TOD but there will be no vegetarian meals served during the shuttle ride.....

Relax, just want to be a bit funny today on Cinco de Mayo

BTW I hope Kar's Bratwust is not all charred......

Vegetarian is a native American word originally - few people know
it stands for "bad hunter"

RE: Announcement and Invite: G-Treffen 2010

To all of you G-uys, have a great fun, Verena and I are very sorry that this year we are unable to attend the now famous "Oregon-Treffen", especially the great and warm hospitality of Dai and PK. We will be in thoughs with you all and if there is a little "Joke" at the camp fire, please raise a glass of that very special "Pinot"to our health!

Happy trails and missing you Guys! ..... and maybe next Year!

I'd love to do this, but the drive from the East Coast is just too much. Have a great time.
