"Iron Pig" And even though that would have fit on my american license plate perfectly (7 letters), I still had to go for a butchered version of the german, "Eisenschwein" and have the plate lettered: IZNSVIN I figured I'd get more people asking about that than IRONPIG, and I do get an inqiry once in a while. -Dave G.

German Bread Truck Rolling Kleenex Box (see also aerodynamics of a kleenex box) Brent, the "short bus" (because it is usually shorter than the average bus) is a reference to the school bus which usually transports kids with learning disabilities or handicaps. to tell someone they're riding the short bus thus has it's implications. How many people actually know, i'm not sure... probably plenty use the expression without knowing.

In these parts a G is rare and I often hear: " I thought it was a Trooper". ( I cant seem to find an "emoticon showing a gun to the head) Which is always good for the ego and rivals those that refer to a Corvette as a Corvair. Vanity plate ? I always thought "PANZER" fits. In the happy 80ies a buss-titled G-wagen was THE car to have in Norway. Handsome-looking Mercedes with a go-anywhere-ability, tax free because some smart soul managed to get them titeled as 10-seaters and then get a bus-title which also gave it another go-anywhere ability; while everyone else were stuck in rush hour you'd be driving in the bus/taxi-lane with no jam to get you late for your important meetings! Especially stockmarket traders/riders with an eye for profitt fell in love with the G, and it therfore got christianed "The stock-market tractor". It's still a common norwegian name and the people buying them are mostly the same as back then, now 20 years older, their kids have moved out, so they can still buy them tax free, but the tax loop hole now only allows two seats!
