Where did you see the $1200 price?
We use the European version for obvious reasons. Can you confirm all of the Euro chassis' numbers are on the MBUSA EPCnet?
Thanks,

I can't remember the price last time I checked, but the EPC was very expensive. The guy that told me today thought it was $1200 before the drop. Last I looked, it was very expensive but I don't remember the exact details.

Why don't you click the web link and find out? Kerr, EPC stands for Electronic Parts Catalogue. You're only dumb if you don't ask the questions to which you don't have the answers ... ... and if you tell people to click a web link and then the link doesn't work

Saying that, I have a question for you (mb230s) as well if you don't mind. You say that you've signed up for a subscription ... is this the same type of EPC as the screen shot Sean (EuroTruck) has showed us in the 'wiper mystery' post? Thanks, NorthseaRoughneck

(ie. easier to navigate?, more straight forward word search?, is it in a PDF format?) It is completely up-to-date and it goes farther back. The last "disc" version didn't have the 190SL, 300SL, or sedans of that era. I think the 110/111s were as far back as it went. It is a bit flakey b/c of all the Java scripting, but has some features that are pretty cool. I'll probably use it 90% of the time over my 2004 disk version - but I have a 190SL now also.

Braingears Expert Date registered: Apr 2006 Location: St Petersburg, FL Vehicle(s): G320 & ML320 Posts: 1450 | EPC Online I finally took the plunge and subscribed to the EPC Online at It cost $24, and I thought "what the hell". I not have both the older EPC and now the online EPC. Most of the diagrams are nearly identical. The way that it identifies the parts, and keeps track of them are very different. I like the fact that I am getting the most up-to-date part numbers and replacement numbers. The online version runs totally on JAVA, and I had no problem running it from the very start. It's a little slower than the version that I have loaded on my computer, but what can you expect...
If any of you plan to work on your own truck, or even learn more about the componets of your truck, I would highly recommend getting this.

I've tried to find it but apparently it is stowed away in the 'members only' section. Although I do have a login name for the GWOA site I can not get into that section??? Mortinson might know more about that EPC site or the link to it so let's shout out to Mortinson and see if he is willing to help his fellow European G enthusiasts forward into the land of online EPC.
