RE: G-Treffen-Farm Event June 17-19, 2011 - Announcement/Link

Here's my typical 3 day vacation formula:

2 beers per hour x 18 hours x number of days x number of participants = number of beers

For 2 day vacations, add 20%.

For 4 day+ vacations, subtract .03% and drink at least 2 oz. of water between beers. If you don't want to fill yourself up on water, supplement the ingesting of 2 oz. of drinking water with misting on the face. I prefer Avion or Fiji. More rugged types use tap water. I have an amazing titanium mister that I got from Kiehl's. Saves on weight as opposed to those bulky plastic misters. Just a little expedition tip from yours truly. No need to thank me. Just doin' what I can for my G-brothers and G-sisters.

Just bring what keeps you smiling holmes.

Quite right old boy! I get excited when I start hearing conversations about beer coupled with G talk. I also appreciate the consumption function algorithm. Paramount on all fronts. I will preapre and allocate accordingly upon my arrival.

Thanks in advance.

I'm going to have to bring Pacifico's now as Harald hooked me on them in Baja....cold and crisp and delicious!

Notice how everything "tastes" better on vacation, even Pacifico? I even keep one in my first aid kit for emergency hydration.

We'll be wearing sombreros to an Oktoberfest? We have to be careful not to offend the green and yellow flannel.

Remember, we are visiting the home of Deschutes, Rogue, Widmer, BridgePort, Full Sail, and other fine northwest hydrators.

'Bout right on the math there big fella

Lets not forget about Ninkasi and Terminal Gravity, two outstanding Oregon standouts among a large group of smaller brewers. We could always pull some growlers from McMenamins too. Oh wait, why did I move up to Oregon?
Must be the summer skiing.

I'd be happy to stop by Ninkasi and pick up a couple cases, any requests?

YES! Ninkasi! Tricerahops! There's also everything from Walking Man.

There'll be a keg there for everyone on Saturday eve as well as some bottles of Lumos grape. The keg should hold-up for dinner, not sure about Sun morn.

By all means, bring as much beer as you'd like. You won't be lonely. I don't think there are many non-beer-drinkers in this crowd.

Don't forget, aside from the wine that's provided, you can buy some from Lumos before you leave. I usually take home a half or whole case depending.

"Sunny Ponds" are always refreshing in the morning and nice way to kickstart the day. 1/2 Sunny Delight & 1/2 Mirror Pond Ale. Quite lovely actually ... and very apporpriate for any event in the Pac NW. Thank you.

FYI - changing out my batttery and alternator this weekend.

Hmmm, I wonder what brew would go best with Tang. I know, Pyramid Apricot Ale...yum!
