Ripple,

You are sad and pathetic. Now lay off with the insults or go elsewhere. Your comments are not welcome on this Forum.

It's not that we didn't miss you...it is just hard to know who has come over from the other forum and the "regulars" don't really visit much anymore. Ianx's absence was more noticeable since he is the moderator.

... just popped out for a ride on the bike !! - after the Sahara, went over to Eastern Europe & Russia - off to Scandinavia next week (via Holland, Germany and Denmark) - I've just retired (at 49 ), and luvin it !! ... ps, I'm sure Ianx will return soon - if you haven't had the pleasure of meeting him, he's a great guy - people are always quick to criticise - his is a thankless task.

Andy, You are an intelligent guy, you fly aircraft ..right ?

Can you please indicate where I have been insulting in the thread ? Is it that you have a different definition of insults ? On the other hand, you have descirbed as sad and pathetic, that is a direct insult, in which case that makes me the same as you.

Do you feel a little stupid about that ? You really should. Just because one does not agree with your opinion, does not lessen anything.

RE: WHERE IS IANX?

Hey Woolly, am I right in thinking your SLK is metallic green? Noticed this the other day and thought of you:

RE: WHERE IS IANX?

Wooly, How about posting some pictures of your car. There are a lot of new members on the various forums that haven't seen a picture of a green SLK. I really like the color.

Why? You seem to be doing just fine on your own. You have deleted 3 of my posts - ostensibly because they talked about the new SLK-only forum. Are you afraid of a little competition? Look at your site, it is already dead. When the most viewed posts bemoan the loss of your old moderator - who even you can't locate - your forum is in deep trouble. I wouldn't embitter the few returning members you do have by deleting on-topic posts just because they mention another forum. That, my friend, is bad business.

Re: WHERE IS IANX?

Why should any site allow publicity for a competing site. I agree with Gary.

Re: WHERE IS IANX?

Just because the SLK forum is dead here, doesn't mean the whole site is dead. Have you checked the other forums lately?
