If i'm not mistaken, The engine is the same like the S320 engine and gearbox. This car has MB technology in it.

That's why it's expensive

I believe the first Ssangyong had some W124 bits in it as well.

Now i remember, That syaoyang shape was suppose to be the 1995-2002 E class shape but instead MB scrapped the idea and use the round lights instead(W210) E class.

They gave or sell the plan to syongyang.

^^I'm not sure. I remember reading an article about this car.

This design is suppose to be the next E class after the W124.

That's why the shape from the front looks like a W124 E class but just slightly bigger. The rear end of this Syongyang is not though. It 's a bit diffeerent from the original MB plan.

Mostly toyota Crowns are used in SIngapore. There are limited no. of merc taxis in Singapore. Only way you could use them is finding a MB taxi by night where they are not busy.LOL.

Yea, that's what they are called. Toyota Crown. I rode in a lot of them when I went to Singapore when I went to visit some relatives. Yea, I remember seeing some W124 taxis. I think they may charge more though...

yea, Taxis are really abused. Poor W211. That's what that W211 gets for not being a W140. If it was a W140, it would be loved by its owner.

How much did you lose on down payment?

I dunno. I kinda forgot. In the end though, when they took the car away, the car lost about $40,000 USD. in only 6 months with about 2,000 miles on it. :squint:

they?? took???
