For those of you looking for that irritating rattle when you close your doors, its these back covers of your exterior mirrors. A bad design.. A question though.. when I fold my mirrors back using the electric switch on the dash, my drivers side (RHD) only folds 45' compared to the left hand side which folds 90'. Is this normal?? May everyone have a great Festive season.

They both should fold all the way in. And that automatic adjustment for when you're backing out, the mirror doesn't return to the first position about half the time. I just released the switch where neither will do that anymore. MB has a TSB concerning the automatic mirror adjustment.

Are you talking about the automatic droping of the mirrors when backing up?? Mine has never done this. Where did you disable it , Id like to try enable it and see what I get.
