I found the main beam, fog light and low range dashboard indicator lights too bright, so I printed some grey on a transparency and left it in front, this worked but was not pretty. However, I removed the light cluster and noticed that it is quite easy to make a transparency strip which can be slid underneath the Mercedes strip actually in the cluster itself (this looks much better). I have uploaded a picture and the spreadsheet itself which I used to print the slides, BUT I am not allowed to upload spreadsheets so I have named the file M-ClassDisplayDimmer.jpg (rename it as an xls file).
