| P/S really heavy at 5 mph or less
Checked te fluid, seems fine. but at less than 5mph it seems like there is no p/s at all, above 5mph feels normal, andy Ideas? |

UHM, Checked the fluid again, was just touching the bottom of the dip stick. I had the hose clamps replaced, don't see ay oil on my garage floor???? |

It could be leaking very slowly out from around the reservoir o-ring.

Did you find a leak? My lower power steering hose just went last night and I had it towed in to the dealer this morning. Sounds like this is a recall covered for 10 years in the US. Any such luck for Canadian ML's?
Forgot to mention - delaer had replaced the clamp on 2003 but also had just inspected that hose and clamp two weeks ago.

Apparently holds for Canadian MLs as well. The dealer replaced the hose & clamp for free. |
