Ianx,

I really like the speed and layout of this new site. You have done an excellent job in putting it together!

Re: What do you think of the new layout?

Layout mostly good. Using red to mean "read" is bass-ackwards. Red should mean that one isn't current in reading that thread.

Do new threads move to the top? That's not entirely clear. It's nice if they do, because it's nice to know what to read.

regarding the red, post that suggestion into the feedback forum Ron, it will be noted much quicker by the Admin.

New threads do move to the top like most forums.

Re: What do you think of the new layout?

I took another look at Benzworld to get a better sense of the difference.
It brings to mind powerpoint presentations, tedious lectures, workplace
headaches, and way too much seriousness. Then, looking at PointedThree,
I register soothing relaxation and open-road vacation. I may drive my
SLK to and from work, but it ain't work and, in it, I'm always on vacation.

Re: What do you think of the new layout?

I like todays' change where threads that I have read are highlighted in orange type. It's easier to pick out the read and not read threads.

RE: What do you think of the new layout?

Thanks to Duo-art I found the new site and i love it too. IT is very easy on my poor old eyes. Just when I was dispairing the changes at the old site that made for miserable eyestrain, the new site appears, more readable than the old site ever was. I'm looking forward to many on-line sessions and posts this summer.
